Hack an exoplanet TOI- 560c :
Step 1 :
- In the first step, we analyzed the information in program Alesfitter
Step 2 :
- In the next step, we determined the size of the exoplanet, we found that radius of the exoplanet should be 1.479x10^22 m^3.
Step 3 :
- In the next step, we determined the distance of the exoplanet from its star. We knew that it takes 1,631,206.08 seconds to orbit a star. Using Kepler's third law, we calculated that the distance is 0.12494 Au, or 1.869 089 459x10^10 m.
Step 4 :
- We had temperature data available. The temperature is 225 +/- 15 degrees Celsius. We analyzed whether it is possible to live on this planet. Our answer: "definitely not."
Step 5 :
- In the last step, we looked at the density of this planet. We found that it is a solid planet and its density 2,185 g/cm^3. From this we deduced that it is an Earth-like planet that will contain elements such as aluminum or quartz.
